Ten rules every screen keeps

  1. Flip it on and forget it.The machine owns every choice it can make. You own only your intent.
  2. Two worlds.Your life is warm and in colour. His world is black ink and one red. The chrome is his; the content is yours.
  3. One red.Red means he's acting: the ring, the cut, the switch. Never decoration.

The mark

One cut, one circle

The brush circleDrawn by the cut, with drops flicked off its tail. Film, landing and ledger. Never a solid disc, never rays.
The ring: 22px and upClosed red: protected. Open grey: off. Red with a gap: holding, for seconds.
The app icon: his parasol from aboveA black disc, faint ribs, the red ring. Seen from behind as he walks away, it's the last frame of the film.

Motion

Stillness, then one cut

The cut400ms, cubic-bezier(.8,0,.2,1). The only big motion in the product, and only after protection is proven.
Working: jugglingThree red balls on a perfect circle: the joker's hands, the samurai's precision. Never a spinner.
